Arabian Serin is an endemic bird in Arabia, its region is redistricted \to western and southern Arabian heights.seeing one in my region in Jeddah Alhamrah district was a real surprise for me, as far as i know it was rarely if never been recorded in Jeddah. which makes one think that this one who came and i was able to record it for three days, was an escape.
It amy not seem to be as colorful and attractive as cage birds usually are, but from what i heard it got the most gorgeous calls.
took many shots for this beauty, this set from shooting on 19/01/2012
Olympus E5 + Sigma 50-500.ISO 500, all shots are uncropped.
