Orphean warbler

A large Sylvia warbler, that closely resembles the Arabian (red sea) warbler, (Sylvia leucomelaena). They are from the early arrivals in the Spring migration, some appear as early as mid February. But mostly one show up in my garden by the second week of March and stay for 7-10 days, they make them selves known by there frequent visits to the water bath, and there loud chiffy calls.

Had to hide between the bushes of the Temrix trees, and waited for several hours about there days in row, for it to finally get over its fear and decide to come to this branch so it can get down to drink form the water bath on the ground.

The shots are taken on 09/03/2010, by Olympus E620 + Sigma 50-500mm, f 6.3, ISO 250.
