Masked Shrikes are one of the most beautiful birds that pass by Jeddah during the migration time, which take place twice a year, the Autumn migration, which begins on mid August until mid November. and the Spring migration which starts from Mid Funerary until end of May.
Back in March 30th 2010 i had a fabulous day with this Female masked shrike. usually they are a bit shy but this lovely one, was really friendly. allowed me to come real close to her, and get many shots, here are some of the best.
all shots are taken by Olympus E620 + Sigma 50-500mm, at ISO 200, at about 9:30-10:30 am
